• You will not upload unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent content, or use the service to scrape or profile other users.
• You understand that profile details, event participation, and messages are stored so the service can function.

What BeGlobal Collects

• Identifiers and contact data you submit, including your name and email address.
• Profile information such as your home country, current city, languages, interests, and bio.
• Content you create in the app, including events, RSVPs, invitations, and messages.
• Basic session data stored in your browser, such as a local user identifier used to keep you signed in on the same device.

How BeGlobal Uses That Data

• To create your account and show your profile to other users inside the service.
• To suggest matches, organize meetups, and support direct and community messaging.
• To maintain service availability, investigate misuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Data Retention

BeGlobal retains account, event, and messaging records while the service is active and until they are deleted by the operator or removed at a user's request when feasible. This Render-hosted prototype may also lose data earlier because hosted storage can be reset during redeploys, restarts, infrastructure changes, or free-tier limits.

If you do not want your information stored under these conditions, do not register for the service.

California Notice at Collection

For California residents, BeGlobal collects the categories of personal information described above for the business purposes described in this notice and in the Privacy Policy. BeGlobal does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. The service uses the information primarily to operate the app, facilitate user connections, and maintain the service.

Your Choices

If you choose to register, you consent to the collection, storage, and use of your data as described here and in the Privacy Policy. If you are a California resident, you may also have rights to know, correct, or delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions and operational limitations for this prototype service.
